Client-Centered Therapy
You are the expert on your own life. My job is to listen carefully, hold space without judgment, and trust the wisdom you bring into the room.
Hi, I’m Christine. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I’ve spent years sitting with people through hard, ordinary, and quietly wonderful moments. Whatever brings you here, you’re welcome.
A little about me
I’ve worked in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, in individual and group therapy, and even inside the insurance industry — which means I’ve seen this work from a lot of angles. What’s stayed constant is the belief that people heal in relationships where they feel safe, heard, and treated with respect.
Some weeks we’ll laugh, some weeks we won’t. Some weeks we’ll just sit and untangle one small thing. Whatever you bring, I’ll meet it with care.

How we’ll work together
Three pieces I bring to every session — woven together, never rigid, always in service of what you actually need.
You are the expert on your own life. My job is to listen carefully, hold space without judgment, and trust the wisdom you bring into the room.
When the same thoughts keep looping, CBT gives us a quiet, practical way to step outside them — to notice, question, and try something different.
I believe you already carry what you need. Together we’ll find those strengths, dust them off, and use them to build the life you actually want.
“My counseling style is warm and non-judgmental. I integrate kindness into every session, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. You’ll be treated with respect, sensitivity, and compassion — every time.”

How I help
You don’t need to know which of these fits — only that something feels worth tending. We’ll find the words together.
We’ll slow things down together — name what your worry is doing, and find practical ways to soften its grip. You don’t have to keep bracing.
When everything feels heavy, even small things count. We’ll work gently — with kindness, evidence-based tools, and your own strengths leading the way.
I use exposure and response prevention (ERP) and CBT to help you step out of the loop, one careful experiment at a time, at a pace that feels human.
Without judgment, we’ll look at what’s underneath — what helps, what hurts, and what you actually want your life to feel like. Recovery is yours to shape.
Grief doesn’t move in a straight line. I’ll sit with you in it — honoring who and what you’ve lost while we make room for living again.
When you’re stretched thin, we’ll look at the load you’re carrying and find what can be set down, redistributed, or simply tended to with more care.
Family, partners, friendships, work — relationships shape almost everything. We’ll work on what feels stuck, and on what feels worth tending.
If what you’re carrying isn’t on this list, that’s okay. Reach out anyway — I’d rather hear from you than have you wonder.
Where I see you
All sessions are secure video. Wherever you feel most yourself — your favorite chair, the kitchen table, your car at lunch — is the right place to meet.

Reaching out is often the hardest part. A few words is enough — really. I read everything that comes in.
